Liability Insurance Cover

Liability covers are designed for corporate entities and businesses that provide products or services to their customers.
It protects you against legal costs and loss from a claim of alleged negligent acts, errors or omissions in the performance of your professional services.

Areas covered under Liability cover are as follows:

Public Liability:

• Provides indemnity to third parties for accidental death, bodily injury illness or loss /damage
• We exclude the following in regards to public liability:
• Product liability,
• Damage to property,
• Pollution & Contamination

Product Liability

• Provides indemnity against legal liability for accidental bodily injury / damage caused by the nature of product.
• We exclude the following in regards to product liability:
• Political Violence and Terrorism
• Contamination of the product or production process

Directors Liability

• Provides compensation to the company against amounts that the insured shall become legally liable to pay resulting from any wrongful act in their capacities as officers.
• We shall not compensate for the following acts:
• Fraud
• Conscious/Intentional acts that would cause legal liability

Professional Indemnity

• This provides indemnity against legal liability to third parties arising out of breach of professional duty by reason of any negligent act, error or omission.
• We shall not compensate for the following:
• Loss of documents,
• Libel and Slander
